Just curious what measures you veterans are keeping track of.

If I understood the lectures correctly, you need to track 6? One of which has to be an outcome measure?

The MIPS measures are:
Quality
Improvement Activities
Advancing Care Information
Cost
MIPS Reporting

MIPS ‘Quality’ performance category reserves 50% space in the MIPS Final Score. In the light of that, we must score big in this category to earn bonuses. I would choose the easiest measures to demonstrate meaningful use in 2018.
Yes, you are to select 6 measures and report them. Remember if you perform an activity and do not report it, it does not count.
Yes, one of them is the outcome measure or another high-priority measure if outcome measure is not available.
Honestly, it gets confusing when you see the list. The list has 268 measures in total. I must say I would report the measures through certified EHR technology and try to earn bonus points. Have you selected your list of measures yet? I would love to read them.
