miscommunication with case

Hey all-
I applied to case western this cycle, and I sent everything in by the end of August (transcripts, application, LOE, and DAT scores). I saw that they cashed my check about two months ago, and I haven't heard anything at all yet. Thus, I decided to call today, and they said they were missing my DAT scores. I was like "What?!?!?" because I had taken them in July and definitely designated Case as a school to receive my score report. I'm guessing the score report may have been lost along the way to Case, which kind of sucks given that I finished everything at the end of the summer. Wouldn't you think that they would have notified sometime over the past 2-3 months that I was missing that part of the application? I didn't want to call them for my app status because I have been told that schools frown upon that. This stinks because now my chances of getting an interview/acceptance are severely reduced!
oh well i guess there is nothing i can do

Yeah it happens. I had LOR issues with ASDOH and so my app was put in review late. I got an interview though only it its a bit late (Dec 4th)

Case did send me a piece of paper saying what I was missing, it's strange that they didnt do that for you. Also, more and more schools now download your DAT score online instead of relying on the paper copy. I am surprised that Case isnt one of them.

They still haven't cashed my check. I've sent it in twice. I called and they said they haven't received it. I am pretty much giving up on them.

They told me over the phone that one of the admissions staff would download the DAT score online this week. Why didn't they do that two months ago? It makes no sense. What a waste of money and how unprofessional...

Now I think about it, I think Case does dl DAT scores electronically (and has been).

I took the DAT on 8/11, but the paper copy wasnt sent until 8/16. I received an invite from Case on 8/20, and it would just be too hard for the paper copy to get there within 4 days and get processed.

yeah, i really have no idea what's going on. I'm going to call again to figure this out. Thanks for the help! I'll post what happens later.
