Okay, so I made kind of a big mistake on the CV I sent to my LOR committee...I put down the wrong hours for volunteering, but in the bad way for me, I put down less...

I volunteered all 4 summers after high school until now at a hospital in my hometown over break (only live one hr away from college)...yet in my rush to submit the CV to the committee, I put down June-July 2005, May-July 2008...the second part should read May-July 2006-2008...I was correcting something on this line and I just did not pay attention when rewriting...I just noticed this now, a week after submitting it...

The committee deadline was last week, but I want to correct this...shoudl I just contact the comittee and my individual LOR writers informing them of the mistake? Sorry, but volunteering is sparse on my app, and thats the only experience I have thats spans over a year (though not consecutively...obviously...)

This is your pre-med committee? Just stop by with another copy. Hopefully they'll be understanding. These people are trying to help you get into medical school, after all.

Alright I'll try that...I'm worried about the chair, this is the same guy that told 1 friend he had no chance at MD and the other that he didn't belong in medicine at all (not bad stats, and maybe MD is a long shot but they both came out saying he depressed them just with the way he said this stuff)

I'm worried this guy is just going to say something like I'm obviously not prepared for med school if I can't even organize a CV...apparently he's vicious and I don't want him remembering me for this when it comes time for the interview/writing of letter...this is my predicament...anyways, thanks for the advice...i know my LOR writers won't say anything, they all know me really well and won't think twice about a misprint, but this committee head...ugh...thanks again for the advice...i'll stop by tomorrow with a new copy and hope for the best...

correct it by email immediately and also drop off a letter with the assistant for the appropriate people. If you don't bend over backwards apologizing, it won't look like a big deal.

Trust me. Other people on the committee know that guy is a jerk and won't let your letter get taken down for that kind of mistake.
