Hi all! I am a non-traditional student, and I am working to finish up my Medical Lab Science degree. I work in lab science full time and my longer term goal is to become a pathologist. I’m trying to determine how what my prerequisites will look like beyond my BS. My clinical experience should be solid, so additional prereqs may be my biggest hurdle at this point. Thanks in advance for any input or experience that you’d like to share!

I'll make a small pitch for pathologist assistant programs. They also require similar prerequisites as those for medical school, but ideally you need to like pathology or what pathologists do. If you want to go into medicine, you have to like what physicians do overall. At least talk to the physicians you work with including the pathologists.
