I haven’t been on this site since I was applying to dental school, when I daily used to lurk to see if people were getting interviews, etc.
At any rate, I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017, and purchased a practice four years ago. Today, my practice is starting to burst at the seams and I am looking to accommodate that growth. My timeline is flexible: now to 3 years. I don’t think I’ll make it any longer than that on my own!
A little bit about the opportunity:
1)I value CE. I’ve taken ~550 hours of CE in 7 years since graduation, and will receive AGD Fellowship in July. Ideally, you would be interested in learning as well!
2)I am looking for someone who has an interest in buying into the practice once we determine if the fit is ideal (likely 1-2 years)
3)There is a big opportunity to do Endo in my practice. I currently refer 100% of my cases. It would be essential (and great production potential) to be comfortable doing Endo. My plan would be to have you complete a mini-residency (such as: this one) and I would purchase a microscope to ensure highest standards of care.
4)We are digital, and have CBCT, Primescan, and a CEREC mill. In addition to general dentistry, we do a variety of advanced procedures, including implants, orthodontics, periodontics, and rehabilitations.
5)Our area is right on the MN/WI border, a beautiful area among the bluffs. There is a thriving outdoor community: there are miles of trails for hiking and biking, miles of rivers for fishing and activities.
6)We are 50/50 fee-for-service/insurance. We are only a Delta Premier provider, and are not in-network with any other insurances. There are many patients to be seen and cost of living is low.
7)We have unique benefits: paid yoga membership, stand up paddleboards, paid Earth Day volunteering, free LED/IR light therapy for aches and pains, among the more standard ones such as 401k and health insurance coverage.
