So I recently devised this little gem to remember the order of general transcription factor binding:

Okay - think ointment:

DAB Paul Twice For Efficient Healing

That's (TFII)D-A-B-Pol II-F-E-H

Just thinking about the polymerase as Paul instead of Pol cracks me up!


Do you guys have any good ones? (About anything, not just TFs)

Last year, I just used the word DABFEH, pronounced like it looks. My friends went with Damn Arnosti Because Fools Envy Him (that was our mol bio prof's name).
