Hi
I am board certified in Internal Medicine and will have completed Geriatrics medicine fellowship by end of 6/2025. I will be starting cardiology fellowship after that. Meanwhile the student loans are killing me with interest and would like to start making some extra cash on the side. I cannot moonlight in USA while on J1 visa.
So I am wondering if I can get a locums or part-time or weekend gig as hospitalist in Canada (I am a Canadian Citizen) somewhere. Also what would be the process for licensing?
What sort of pay would I be looking at if I do 2 hospitalist shifts over the weekend?
Any help, suggestions are really appreciated.
