Hi Guys, so I have been having a really hard time thinking of a moral or ethical dilemma i have had and I can't seem to think of any that has happened to me. This is for a couple of my secondary essays.

Well, one that i can think of is a friend stealing another friend's stuff and I didn't know whether to rat him out. But i don't really feel like this is a substantial moral or ethical dilemma though.

I guess I am just trying to get some feedback, suggestions that you may have for me or examples?? Thanks.

I wrote about my friend's problematic drug use and our decision to get his parents involved.

I wrote about how one time I trained a female boxer, she faced a lot of adversity being a female in the boxing world but she rose to the top. Biggest fight of her life she gets hit from behind, I dive forward as time slows down but I can't reach the stool in time. She goes down hard, lands on the stool, breaks her neck. No quality of life. As her trainer I'm faced with a tough choice - I pull the plug on her and let her go. Several years later to escape from the pain and memories I move to a neighborhood inexplicably full of only asians and I spend my days on the porch chugging paps blue ribbon. Eventually some gang starts harrassing the asians, whom i hate, and I have another tough decision to make. I let them kill me. Also, I give my car to an asian to show that I only half hated them. Life comes down to a few key moments - make them count

Great movie.

What do you do when you know that a friend, classmate or colleague is doing wrong (lying about something important, cheating, stealing, putting others' lives at risk)? Do you have an obligation based on your relationship with them to protect them? Do you have an obligation to society to help to put a stop to the wrong-doing?

What do you do when your obligation to protect confidential information that has been intrusted to you by a friend comes in conflict with the friend's need for professional help when the friend is in denial about needing help for drug addiction, an eating disorder, alcoholism, domestic abuse, or a similar issue?

I wrote about how I quit my job freshman year because I did not like killing mice. It gave me a chance to talk about some research that I did and an ethical dilemma.

Today, five years later, my boss tells me that we're going to be starting a mouse study ill be in charge of because I have animal husbandry on my CV. Great.
