hey guys, i have a 3.5 overall, and a 3.4 science gpa (mcat scores in a few weeks aahhhh!!) are there any post-bac programs that I can get accepted into? what mcat scores will i need?

wat are the best post bac programs in the country? what are their requirements?

i was also wondering, what the general process is as far as being placed into medical school after completing a post-bac program. will i need to retake the mcat? are there any post-bac programs that guarantee a med school acceptance bar a good performance in the post-bac program?

Thanks!!!

I'm confused. Why are you interested in a post-bac program? Have you done all the requirements (bio, chem, orgo, phys, math)? If so, and you did undergrad fairly recently, then a post-bac program isn't for you, really. Kinda redundant. I'd suggest getting a masters in some field that you're interested in if you're doing this to increase your GPA.

I can only speak for the Columbia program, and only indirectly because I'm technically doing my post-bac at Barnard. If you can handle ruthless classmates, then go for it. Columbia's name carries a lot of weight, the education is good, and the formal program has a good linkage program.

why are you interested in signing up for a post-bac? I dont think post bac programs require MCAT scores. my advice is just go to your state university and take any necessary pre-reqs. I dont know why you would pay a bundle to go somewhere private
