One last question...what do you do if you've got more than 6 schools you want to put down on the FAFSA? How do you add additional schools?

I am getting cranky, but that's cuz I'm frustrated with med schools and I'm taking it out on poor innocent SDNers. I'm sorry everybody! I'm gonna edit that first post....I sound a little too b!tchy from it 😛

I was concerned about what would happen to the first 6 schools when I added the second 6 schools (and the third 6 after that!), so I called and asked about it, and after some heart-stopping misinformation from FAFSA's tech support that indicated that the first 6 schools wouldn't have the info unless they'd already downloaded it before I added the next set of schools <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
I was finally able to speak to someone knowledgeable who told me that all schools will be able to download the information (I made him tell me what my first 6 schools were to verify they were still in their system -- he was able to list them all and even which schools had already downloaded the info). Supposedly it works extremely well if schools are downloading info from all students who put that school on a FAFSA app. However, if a school is trying to download your specific info, there is a possible glitch if the school doesn't know that there are multiple screens on which to look for the info. Sorry, if that's a little confusing, but it was the way the FAFSA guy explained it to me.
