I recently got accepted at Morehouse School of Medicine, and am now looking for a place to stay. I am wondering where the best areas to live are, where most students live.

Congrats!!! Well the thing about Atlanta is that is is a city where you NEED a car. There is housing around MSM, but the neighborhood is a bit rough around the edges. I think many of the students live in Conyers (I-20 east approx 15 min commute) or in Buckhead (close, but pricey).

I live in ATL. in Midtown. Really depends on how much money you want to spend, and if you want a roomate. no roomate, expect no less than 700 hundred a month in the city. You couldn't pay me to live over near Morehouse, it is a really rough area, aka the "hood." Conyers would be one hell of a drive to school each morning, however you could get a nice place for a decent price since it is out of the city. I would find a place in midtown, virginia highlands, or possibly buckhead. its gonna be a 20 minute drive from any of those areas, maybe a bit less depending on traffic and if you know the city.
