If you're an instate resident of certain states, then it can be easier to get into their med schools as long as your stats and LORs are med-school worthy.
Id wager BCOM or CUSOM are probably the easiest DO schools to get into. For MD state of residence plays a huge part. Id say overall being a West Virginia resident applying to West Virginia med is the easiest

Any of the state schools where they take few/none OOS students and you're OOS.
If you're a girl and you're instate for Alabama (or have a tie), and you have decent stats, then getting into USA MD SOM isn't hard. It is male-heavy. In fact, they often inteview qualified girls right away and offer them acceptances usually within 24-72 hours.
