I don't know about the Students at Duke... but ... when I interviewed there, the interviewees were H-O-T.
But then again, like what this med student told me, it's what they look like after anatomy lab that really determines if they look good or not. 😉
Anyways, Miami Med - by far for me, has been the hottest! But then again, like what the other threads said, you don't wanna eat where you ****, so if I go to Miami, I'll hit up South Beach 😀

BTW, there was this amazing Indian chick at Baylor I talked to (man, I hope she's not reading, my nick is entirely too obvious for this ****). Also, Yale wasn't half bad.

Hmm...from what I've seen, the interviewees weren't that hot. The current med school students look pretty good (as a whole).
It's hard to judge who's hot or not because our preferences are mostly racially motivated (and please don't say they're not because we all know they are). What might be hot to me might not be hot to you. Plus, I'm a woman; very few females go on my "hot" list. 😀
I had always heard that UT Houston had hot guys. This is no lie. The hot armani model look-a-like matched there. He's blonde and blue- eyed (to answer surge) 2 wks later. (sorry!)
I have also heard horror stories about dating someone in your class and then having to see them everyday after you break up.

I'm not sure that as someone said that most girls in med school are hot. However, the adcomms weed out several of the categories that men find unattractive, regardless of what the adcomms may say, people who are extremely obese or have that Gothic look or have piercing all over their face or that you can't tell whether they are a guy or a girl are going to be at a disadvantage. However, once you get past those initial roadblocks, I doubt that it will matter much whether you look like a model or the average girl so you shouldn't meet a lot of hideously ugly people at med school, but you won't necessarily meet a whole bunch of Playboy models either. Just my two cents...

There is a first year there that went to my rival high school in San Antonio and also played soccer, and amazingly he knows who I am, even though I had no idea. Must have been my bad ass soccer skills. 😉 I think he is either my age or a year behind me (23 or 22.) So, he is blond, hot, has an accent, and is amazingly NOT a player. He could unfortunately be one of those really nice, focused guys though, so he may be "technically" unavaliable.
I will have to say, when I interviewed, I wasn't too impressed in general. But who knows? One of my friends who goes there did say they like to take good looking applicants. Guess we'll find out on Welcome Weekend. 😀

it's a general rule: the smarter girls get, the uglier they get(with a few exceptions ladies). Why do you think UCB has uglier girls than U of A? Why are the girls at Harvard so beat, while the girls at San Diego State are just the opposite? It doesn't take a scientist to figure this out......

cause the ones at sd state spend lots of time modifying their appearance -- bleaching their hair, going to the tanning booth, getting fake boobs, going to the gym, going shopping, getting liposuction, hiring a personal trainer -- while the girls at harvard actually have to study 😛
Though I haven't gotten breast implants or liposuction, I work out everyday (endorphins make me happy), go shopping (clothes make me happy), and have bleached my hair a time or two. Does that make me a dumb bimbo? No way. There ARE normal, attractive girls that get into med school, believe it or not. We don't all just study and look like old hags. 🙂

I just got back from Northwestern and here is the verdict.
I would have to agree that the girls at Northwestern are pretty hot. I saw several hot ones. The only thing that sucks is that the male/female ration is not even close to 50/50. Its like 60/40.
I could always go for a law student or something. I don't know.

Then you, my friend, are blessed. But unfortunately, I think many of us are aware of inverse relationship that exists between Hotness and Studiousness. I use studiousness rather than intelligence because I think studiousness is the behavioral trait that makes people seem smart (e.g. busting your ass to get to med school) whereas intelligence might be wasted on a person who uses their looks to get through life.
H=t/S+a where t is some random constant and a is usually zero except for those few who don't fit the curve.
Note that this is only a trend. There are certainly outliers who are on the good and bad side of this curve with positive and negative a's. Thus, the ultimate challenge is to find the outliers with nice t and a.

We should all be working out, for sure. I was amazed how no one on any of the tours I went on knew how many squat racks were in their gyms, or apparently what a power rack was...
I have to tell you. Tufts girls are beat. In fact, Mass in general is a terrible place to date women. Awful. Apparently, there's some sort of unspoken rule that everyone here has to have a big ole ass. And enough with the Party Pants already! Christ! For those of you attending med school up here, good luck!

I don't know what a power rack is, but I know a nice rack when I see one, so is a power rack one of those surgically enhanced ones, and you press a button and the nipples become erect.
i'm not saying it's bad to put effort into appearance. i work out, i blow dry my hair, i wear make up, etc... i guess what i am saying is that a lot of girls who guys think are "hot" are only that way b/c they put SO much effort into it. and a lot of girls who guys might think are average, might be really "hot" if they spent time modifying themselves. i'm all about girls taking care of themselves, but i think sometimes guys miss out on what true beauty is b/c they get too distracted by cleavage, short skirts, and bleached hair.

My version of "hot"- tall, dark, and HUGE, and can move more iron than any of you pencil necks ever dreamed. Oh yeah, and is gentle, smart enough to keep up with me, can love my dog almost as much as I do, has earning power, and would follow me to the ends of the earth.
Hmmm... Seems my s.o. fits all those criteria... 😀
Guess I don't need to be hoping for a miracle to give me all that in one of my classmates. That's okay, all y'all young 'uns can keep that problem for yourselves.

I think the best way to go is to go to a school with lots of contact with other health professions.
Physician assistants, physical therapists, pharmacists, optometrists, nurses and dental hygenists all tend to be majority women, if not 90% women in some fields like nursing.
Believe me, the vast majority of physical therapists and physician assistants are HOT! And they are likely to be impressed with your pre-MD status, if you have game.
Not only that, but these are precisely the B and C students who went to Texas Tech, SD State and The University of Florida.
They'll be in proximity, so they should be easy to meet. And since they are not actually in your classes, a guy can mack his way around the entire school.
Let the macking begin!!!

Dunno about worthy, that's... well... I guess all relative- I'd say a lot of "hot" grrls aren't "worthy" of some rather mundane guys due to lack of... (whatever non-physical traits).
I was talking about my idea of what is "hot", not that I'm asking anyone to conform to those standards (tall, dark and huge are mostly due to uncontrollable factors anyway- ya know, genetics). I couldn't resist giving my input, given the paucity of female opinions on this thread, other than to diss the male ideas of "hot" 😀
I must say Loyola girls were pretty hot when I interviewed, this thread is kind of funny so I'm reviving it.😉

Peope get advantages because they are pleasing to the eye ... what's wrong with that? That means they combine many things into one being. Granted, helping people is independent of looks, but don't you think people are more comfortable with better looking people in general than with hideous ones? Haha, I'm just giving another explanation of how things might be. In some cases, it's better to have really good intelligence and good looks rather than be average or ugly and a genius? Do you guys understand my point? Life isn't fair! Why can I be a genius and be hot? Why am I ugly but really smart? Why am I hot but dumb as FU**

You know, I had the impression for some reason that girls/guys in med school would be sub-average looking compared to the average-college population. but... after interviewing at a few schools... i'm come to the conclusion that's not the case at all! The girls at Northwestern were VERY cute... 1st and 2nd. Likewise I was surprised at Dook - I was totally surprised by the girls I met there who were 2nd and 3rd year. The university of michigan was kinda the exception - but Umich is generally the exception in a variety of things i guess. I dunno if nurses are better looking than docs though.... you really think that's true?
