Does anyone know what the most important GPA (Freshman-Senior Total, Cumulative Undergrad, or Overall) each of the following schools use: NSU, TUCOM NV, OK State U, LECOM Bradenton, AZCOM?

I know that some allopathic schools use a formula to calculate an internal score for each application. The internal score is used to assess the educational achievements of a student. Some schools only include the Freshman-Senior years in the score. Other schools only include the cumulative undergraduate GPA, and some schools use the overall gpa which includes all undergrad and graduate coursework. I would assume that the most important gpa is the one that a school posts for matriculating statistics.

I m guessing over all gpa bc as someone else said its the one they post most often. Science gpa is often posted also.

From my experience - and from my correspondences with many Osteopathic medical schools - your last 2 years matter most. If you have an upward trend - first year won't matter that much. Get straight A's your last year (with many units) and you're looking great.

I know that science GPA and cumulative GPA are looked at heavily at Touro NV.

My cumulative undergrad was average for OSU-COM, but my science GPA was way below average. They surely had to use my cumulative as the more important value.

I have low overall GPA, very high science GPA, with a very big upward trend and had no problems receiving interviews. But, some posters have mentioned the opposite, lower science than overall. So, maybe there is no one GPA that is more important than the other. But i do think upward trend is good, if you had a bad start.
