True, I forgot about engineering. Apologies. I completely agree with that. I guess engineering can fall under physics.
No, it doesn't.

And apparently ENGLISH is not your strong suit. Better go back to 3rd grade and relearn your English grammar and spelling....![]()
I have less of an issue with the grammar than with the fact that so much effort was put in to a post having so little value. 🙂
I spelled one word wrong on an internet forum. Relax. Who says go back to third grade anyways?(other than 4th graders) It was very late and I was/still am exhausted. I am a classical literature major. 😡
The wit on this thread seems to be nearly unbearable at times. 🙂 It took all of 90 seconds.
Still not worth the time expended... 🙂
Philosophy always impresses me.
Probably because 90% of philosophy majors end up working in gas stations. You're the exception. Maybe they're more impressed by you and not by your major? 😉I get two responses to philosophy.
The normal response is either condescending or to make a joke.
The rarer response is to be impressed. It does happen though. More so in my old research assistant job than among fellow students, though.

Had a TA that said she dropped out of med school (scored a 34 on the MCAT) to major in Philosophy. She was a bit pretentious, yeah.
Really? This + Chem Majors are top 1% topic give me migraines. I hope people who talk about this stuff on SDN don't do so in real life because it's a really fast way to come off as a total jerk.

Says the person who got a D in Intro to Theoretical Quantum Rocket Surgery.
"Most impressive" is a pretty clear claim of "superior." Have fun with your discussion though.
Naw, I wouldn't put astrophysics as "superior" to many majors, but it sounds damn cool!"Most impressive" is a pretty clear claim of "superior." Have fun with your discussion though.
inb4 people bash other majors because they think their own major is awesome
pimpology
Is that a BS or a BA.
