I have one spot left for my most meaningful experiences. I can either choose my research, which I have been doing for the past 3 years or I can choose my hospital volunteering. Both were meaningful for me in different ways, but I feel like the hospital volunteering is more relevant since I don't want to incorporate research in my future. However, I have also wrote about my hospital volunteering in my PS, so I don't want to sound redundant either.
Would it seem weird that I did research for that long but didnt list it as most meaningful? On the flip side, should I include the hospital volunteering as most meaningful since I wrote about it in my PS?

In my personal experience, it doesn't seem to matter that much. The questions I think you should ask yourself are "which activity contributed most to my desire to devote my professional life to medicine" and "which activity was most formative in creating the person I am today". I would worry less about "will it look bad to not list an activity I did for a while as most meaningful" and "will this be redundant with other things I wrote". The most meaningful experience blurbs are a very small part of your overall application - they aren't going to be what makes or breaks your app cycle.
