I'm URM/Black/immigrant
English is my 3rd language
Undgrad GPA: 3.79
MCATs (2015-2017): 18 (old mcat), 487, 492, 500, 499
2017 I applied broadly and got 2 DO acceptances. Went to a brand new school. I'm literally gonna be in the second class to graduate.
Comlex level 1: 425
Step 1: 204
Then screwed up big time in the middle of residency application season and interviews with level 2.
Comlex level 2: 384 (failed), 435 (Sept and Dec 2021)
I applied to 130 Neurology programs and 21 prelims. Got 13 neuro interviews.
Matched Neurology in an urban program in the Midwest.

Since boards are coming up for me, do you remember how you were scoring on COMSAEs before taking comlex? (if you took them, just curious) And/or Uworld average, etc.? Thanks again love your posts here.

Yep, took the MCAT 5 times total.

All my COMSAEs were between the scores of 81 and 95 (80 was the passing cutoff at my school). Lowest one was Psych and highest were EM and OMM. Uworld average was 50% (but only halfway done). That's my biggest regret actually not starting Uworld earlier in 3rd year to be able to finish it before taking Level 2 and possibly also taking and passing Step 2.
