Taking the summer for a moto trip across the country. Leave from the right coast ~ second week of June if there are any other accepted med students that want to join for an unplanned rip across the lower 48 to celebrate before our lives are no longer our own

Sounds interesting. I would be down for a bit of the Midwest leg, but my bike is pretty much the opposite of comfortable to ride for more than a couple of hours.

Most likely riding a Ninja 650. Haha we'll have to post a ride report on SDN to inspire some pre-meds to do something exciting other than study, research, and volunteering 😉

Not to knock all that stuff -- god knows everyone here has done plenty of it.

That's awesome! My father in law has a BMW and those things are insane. The technology they put on their touring bikes is ridiculous!

My friends and I are doing something similar in early June! We're going through the west for a couple weeks. We'll be hitting LA, San Diego, Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake City, Reno, and San Francisco.
