I don’t see the tone thing but continuing to push on PSV/speechy joking is starting to feel off to me

I've now both masoned with and wolfed with PSV, and generally we've been in basically all of the games that the other has played. I'm starting to feel comfortable with how she sounds, with what makes her more or less nervous. Her exchanges early in the game (both with her sister and others) feel very much like a Pshelty with nothing to hide or worry about.

As for shorty, it's more of a feeling/vibes thing, but her contributions to the flow of discussion have felt organic and positive in a way that's very pro-village. There's a few things I'm expecting to see from her based on my limited experience with her, but we're only on D1.

Mostly a joke because I don't actually know her role and it could be anything. I tend to use qualifiers pretty much any time I type.

I thought there would be like ten more pages in here. Must be because samac isn't playing and Dubz has been busy. It's pretty lonely though.
 
I agree that please feels a little stilted this game compared to usual. I don't have the best track record reading her though.
I find it interesting that Barks doesn't notice pleasy's tone seeming different. I buy that pleasy could be village and her tone is different because she's stressed, but implying her tone is the same as usual feels strange.
 
Oh good, approximately half the roster hasn't even met the post minimum yet.
And half the roster is holding their votes.

This won't make for a crazy close or anything.

I hope this doesn't include me hitting the roof and then proceeding to simmer with anger for the remainder of the game because that was atypical, extremely draining, and not something I have the energy to repeat in close succession like this :laugh:

This has been tickling my brain a little bit since it was put down. Partially because the phrasing feels a little ... artificial? but it also strikes me as an odd vote to make since I know Barky has played with True since that time he axed her a question. And she salt voted him for it then. Reusing it made me scrunch my brow a little.

Bioshock was an excursion under the sea that lasted approximately 10,000 years (or at least it felt that way). It was a huge game featuring groups, PMs, neutrals, items, A VENDING MACHINE THAT EVERYONE HATED BECAUSE IT WAS TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE 😡, and some excellent play by all factions involved.

It's also the longest game in pre-vet WW history, AFAIK.

@Barkley13 I did a quick search and you were tunneling pleasy for a bit in Bioshock. Do you not remember how she sounded then?

I also raised an eyebrow at that comment but I used to be like that and want people to read me village all the time. I got a little caught up in it but I had to chill out with time lol. So I think overall its pretty regular anxiety village

I don't know how I feel about this, I get you're were waiting for PSV to respond but I don't get totally how that holds up the rest of your reads and I have noticed over games when people (including myself) push them off like that its because they don't have any due to being bad guy. Also coupling that with the classic let me round up the low posters and draw attention to them seems a little ick vibey to me. Also I see PSV did respond a little after your post

speechy gave me some nooby sketch that I want to ignore
but with PSV, i don't like how much room there is for PSV to say things about speechy, or to speechy, and roll back and say it was a joke or serious as its advantageous
which is why i asked again bc i wanted to understand if it was fully a joke
or if it was like "joke but hm maybe I'm serious if sus starts going speechys way"

it is because i only have a couple of leans and they make up approximately half of them lmao
and the post about who i want to hear more from was bc i was looking at my sheet and just listing the people who i don't have anything written down for yet

Also this gives me @Lawpy vibes because he has a superior memory to me, and can remember random threads to go back and check to support his hypothesis. Do I know if what he is saying is accurate, no I do not but I am also too lazy to check lol. This is also why I'm going to say I support barks for not remembering because same

cray- feels cray village toned with her catch up style, strongest village lean thus far

dolphin- i like the logic flow it seems to be coming from a village place
shorty- hm ok so shorty is usually REALLY good at reading me, and i am not seeing her points about my tone, so I'm like hm is she trying to misyeet BUT the thing is other people also know that shorty is good at reading me so if she led a misyeet on me, sus would fall on her, and i believe she would know that so that makes me feel like maybe shes village but i could talk myself in circles with this

barks-don't have much of a read on yet. I thought that saying i was continuing to push the psv thing felt a little bit exaggerated, as if it was all i had posted and i brought it up every other post, but that could be my defensive brain
dubz- i am bad at reading dubz send help
mayo- i am bad at reading mayo send help (esp wary after last game)
paws-I'm not seeing the paws sus but there's nothing pushing me either way
true-i agree that true sounds different from last game but true was so crazy busy last game i don't wanna give that much weight
visc- nothing pulling me either way

speechy- noob scaries but i want to give chance,
psv- ok this one really really hinges on continuing to observe psv and speechy's interactions. i still don't like the wiggle room of "mostly joking" because the post was "i believe speechy is woofy" so mostly joking to me implies room for peddling back and saying speechy

Bioshock was my baby and a game I finally ran after planning it for like 5 years. It lasted 18 irl days. It was everything I ever wanted for that theme :heckyeah:

I went back to look at the one time that please wolfed (Pirate Basics) because I remember that her tone as a wolf was quite different from when she's village. She tends to be very hedgy and unsure as a villager, and it reflects in her reads, whereas when she was wolfing, she was much more confident and direct with her reads. I pulled some quotes from early game in that, and also in HZD where she was village for comparison.

The reads list that she just posted, to me, fits much more with the tone and style that I associate with her wolfing.

i think the second post could be coming from a village place
but the first one feels again like having wiggle room with the first sentence
and then the second point just makes it obvi to me that my tone is diff but idk why which is frustrating but i don't think there's much i can do about it. I wanna see how far psv takes the barks question marks
