Okay, so we are often discussing our favorite movie lines at the Lawns (Broadlawns) and as many of you know Dr. Mandracchia is a big movie buff, so let's add some here.

Bevilacqua and I like:

Glengarry Glen Ross when Alec Baldwin gives his pep speech:

Another great one by Alec Baldwin (Malice, I AM GOD):

I like my favourite movie quote printed...so here it goes:

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.

The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.

Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.

From Dazed and Confused. The quote is at the end.

Matthew McConaughey says "That's wht I love about these high school girls. I get older, and they stay the same age."

And from Son in Law

Paulie Shore says " you have chickens? I love chickens. Extra Crispy or origincal recipe?"

and also from son in law and Paulie Shore

"Juice 'll make the jewels shrivel into sun dried tomatoes"

What about the classic Pumping Iron with Arnie?

Oh, wait... I probably haven't lifted more than a few times since boards last summer :p

Know Dr M's like for the movies and quotes well, but mine run a little different. More of mine are from the military genre. I think he would understand and appreciate that.

I recently had to attend another military course. My group leader there was a logistician. He showed a short clip from a film I like and it was a classic. Not sure if Dr M would relate to it but should be mentioned.

In Zulu with Michael Caine, there is a scene where they are being overrun by Zulu warriors and they are running back to the Quartermaster for more ammunition. The QM is requireing them to fill out the proper requisitions and will only open one box at a time. Has all these guys lined up and the enemy coming right up behind them. Classic.

Tell Dr M I said Hi.

Eric
