I just found out my apartment will not be ready until 2 days before orientation. I was wondering if anyone has done this before? I usually plan things out wardrobe, food, etc.

The plus side is, I can take step 3 quickly. But I might miss a few social gatherings because I'll be doing walmart runs.

Will not matter in the end.

Is everything else done? I ran into a little problem (moving right before orientation from out of state) because I couldn't come in and do the urine drug screen and titer draw until the last second. Also they sent out half the forms out extremely late, after I had already started driving cross country.

If possible (too late now), it's better to get in a week or so early for pre-orientation administrative things.

I'm moving two days before fellowship orientation. No biggie.

Just get some clothes and toiletries out and have a place to sleep. No rule that you need a professionally decorated apt set up before your first day.

Less stress. Repeat after me. Less stress.

Yes, I did that. It doesn't help that everyone in my hospital looks absolutely gorgeous and has a stunning wardrobe, when I look like a keep nerd. haha
