So I haven't practiced general dentistry in over 6 years and lets just say that I don't even remember how to do a basic prep. Long story short, my husband got a job in Orlando, Florida and I have been put in the position where I will need to move with him and take the NERB as I will need to find a general dentistry job ASAP. Problem is that I haven't touched a handpiece since dental school and the closest dental school where I can possibly practice a prep is Gainsville (which I believe is 2-3 hours away).
Does anyone know how one can practice for the NERB in the meantime? I have reached out to several volunteer organizations to see if I could practice under someone's license in the meantime but I haven't heard back.
