Hi,

I was just accepted to Oregon State and Oregon Health and Sciences (OregonMPH joint program) MPH programs and am having trouble deciding which to accept. Oregon State is ranked on U.S News as #37 for best MPH programs, whereas OSHU is not. But OSHU is known for its good medical school, so I assumed the internships I'd be exposed to at OSHU would be more interesting and in a hospital setting.

Does anyone know how important the ranking of a school is for an MPH when it comes to looking for a job after graduating? Also, does anyone have any advice on the programs themselves, because the internet has minimal information about that.

thanks for all the help!

What concentration are you? One thing to keep in mind, according to Columbia's statistics is that only 17% of their students went to work in a hospital. That stat might be higher for OSU or OSHU but the majority of the jobs for MPH's aren't there.
