Thoughts of every school are still "haunting" me. I think I need to step back and appreciate that I am one of the lucky few that gets to go to dental school in the first place
I don't know why we're delaying the inevitable. I'd love for you to prove me wrong, but I'm willing to bet a hefty amount of $0.35 that you'll choose Penn.

I think you will end up choosing between PITT or PENN. Though I know you loved undergrad in PITT, I think you just sound more inclined to go to PENN to me 😀
You are correct. I think NYU and Maryland I have ruled out. And that alone was a freaking tough choice.

I was just accepted to ASDOH today. That was one of my top choice schools. Now ANOTHER school to weigh on my heart.

What attracted you so much about living in AZ?
Actually nothing attracted me to living there. Phoenix was really boring. But it does have weekend proximity to Vegas, San Diego, and Los angeles.
I guess one positive is no snow. I HATE winter. The snow has already claimed one car of mine via accident.
I fell in love with their rotations though. 4-5 months of a full, community health center workload. Dental schools baby you with 2 patients a day in their facilities, but not ASDOH. Also, no midterms or finals...modular learning. No lab work either. So much upside. I also liked the commuter feel, I'd like to be able to just drive away from school after a stressful day. Everyone seemed happy there!

I'm actually genuinely curious where you decide to go. I think it is interesting to see where people go and why - there is never a best answer... just one that fits what you value in a school (be that cost, location, shiny tools, etc). You are a super strong candidate and will succeed anywhere. I would sleep easy knowing you will be successful! 👍

👍 Congrats. Since you're getting a Navy ride and don't have to spend any $$$ its a good choice. Plus I think Penn will offer a more interesting experience.
