I'm a 25 year old male. The MRI was done on my right foot because of recurring pains.

"Mild tibialis posterior tenosynovitis, without tears"

"Degeneration of the joint between the navicular and the medial cuneiform, possibly posttraumatic in etiology. Clinical correlation is recommended"

"Small posterior subtalar joint effusion"

I'm mostly confused on what the degeneration of the joint means. I went to my podiatrist and she seemed to say it was post traumatic arthritis but I forgot to ask more about it.

I was wondering if it is arthritis doesn't that mean I'm crippled for life? Bit young for this no, since I'm 25.

Just asking since the pain recurred again and another doctor's visit means another $40 and just wanted a bit of clarification.

Thanks in advance.
