Have you considered getting a PharmD? It's been common in the US for pharmacists who were BPharm graduates to go to pharmacy school to get their PharmD's.

If you select a MS in Chemistry, it would be less difficult to switch to pharmacology or pharmaceutics, because you will have probably taken all of the chemistry courses you would need. It's also much easier to find a school that will have a MS in Chemistry program, and it might be rare to find a school that will have an MS program for pharmacology or pharmaceutics. In most cases, you have to find a school that has a PhD program in pharmacology or pharmaceutics.

hi...thanks for ur reply...but still i have a doubt.. if i have joined in an university where there is ms chemistry and no ms pharmacology or ceutics.. then how could i change my branch??

Then you could try to get a PhD in pharmacology or pharmaceutics after finishing your MS. A PhD would give you better jobs in the field. Why do you want to stop at an MS instead of a PhD?

i think this is the order... b.pharm.... ms..and then phD .... (to my knowledge) ... is n't it??

To swtich from MS chem to MS pharmaceutics or pharmacology.....it depends whether they're in the same department or not, i.e. how easy the switch is.
