Hi everyone! I am looking for some advice.
I have a bachelors in exercise science and am now currently getting my masters in kinesiology. My goal was/is to be a cardiac rehab specialist. I spent my whole life focused on one thing that I am now having doubts on what I want to do in life. Now for my question: is it possible to become a nurse practitioner after completing my masters degree? I've done some research but would like to hear what others have to say.

Thanks in advance!

You could do that, but if your grades are decent, you should definately think of trying to get into PA school before you shoot for NP. It would be more of a seamless fit.

This may be a stupid question but my thought was to do NP for sports medicine, is that an option for the PA route as well? With a masters in Kines does that take off any schooling required for either program?

You will be better off going PA, and you can absolutely do sports medicine.

Going the NP route will take you around 6 years from where you are now, while PA will take you half that if you have the grades. Look into it.

You need a BSN before going to DNP school.

PA is the better route if you want to take real exams, not the open book online group quiz stuff.
