First semester went by fast. Can't complain about current classes, but I'm slowly getting obsessively concerned about my inability to retain information long-term.

Does anyone else feel like they've forgotten loads of stuff from earlier in the semester?

Yes, I feel like they just want us to hammer out the super fine detail first semester at my school. We start systems next semester and it's more big picture with a few minute details. As of right now I don't remember every goddamn enzyme in the TCA cycle but I do know the key ones that are clinically relevant

Yah I hope that's the casE for us too. Like yesterday I went back and tried to recall details about hypersensitivity disorders...pid's.... nope, didn't remember much. Kinda worrisome.

I think you'll be ok, I've been reading a lot of these ms1 threads from the past and everyone has felt this way but people are always impressed with how it just starts flowing out of them again. I believe in you guys! I'm sure I'll be saying the next thing next year haha
