Thanks man cbrons, yeah I ended up deleting the post. I was ranting, but I think I just need a break. Hopefully, I'll get that focus and energy back Monday.

Isn't almost time to start studying for step1? Go out and blow off some steam for a couple of days and get back into the game again...

Thank you guys! For real, just getting some encouragement from others who understand helps a lot right now.
I have a pharm final, GI final, and two quizzes this last week of classes. So I'm trying my best to muster up the strength to get through this final stretch.
I think you're all right, I might travel away next weekend before my dedicated starts, I need a break between these finals and step 1 studying.

And yup! step 1 studying is just one week away (can't wait to not have to deal with classes), and 6 weeks from now I will be done. Gonna keep reminding myself that, almost there. 🙂

You can do it, Zeppelin.

Even with Step 1 around the corner... I found Step1 to be much more tolerable to study for than it was for class exams.

Maybe it is the nature of "high yield" material, maybe it is the lack of nitpicky minutiae, who knows... But it has been a rather enjoyable past 5 weeks believe it or not...Busy, but enjoyable... so perhaps things will quickly turn around for you once you get through these last few school finals.

The last month of m-2 is horrible. You're ready to be done. You know step 1 is waiting for you, and you feel edgy.

Ironically, studying for step 1 wasn't as bad as the anticipation of studying for step 1, if that makes sense.

yup first few days were rocky and nerve wracking but you got used to the routine and it feels kinda normal
then you get real tired of it right before your test

Near the end of my study period I not only stopped caring about the test, I also stopped caring about everything. The apathy I had reached insane levels.

I had a pretty similar experience. The end of M2 was pretty much the worst part of med school IMO. I just felt defeated.

Appreciate all the support guys! Just finished our pharm final. Taking it easier today, and back to it for Friday;s exams. Then I'll have a well earned weekend off to look forward to.
That pharm final was demoralizing, but it helps to know I'm not alone. Gonna keep doing my best to push through.
