Hello,

Is there a better or equivalent resource than AAMC MSAR? I guess this is good for selecting med schools which suites your criteria and you have chance to get into. Once you select them, you go to med school web sites and get fine detail about there requirements... correct?

Pretty much.

Last year the community created a "free" version using publicly available data (search for "school spreadsheet" and you should find it). It's somewhat useful, but it's incomplete and the data is less reliable. Really, though, the MSAR is a good investment for getting an idea of which schools to apply to.
