So you have to take the MSAT before entering medical school, is it more difficult than the MCAT?
So if you fail you will not get to go to any medical school?
What is the MSAT all about and how do you study for it?

MSAT is the same as MCAT 2. It's taken after MCAT 1 and before applying to Med School. Check with www.aamc.org for registration info.

What the hell are you talking about?

I think that's for foreign med schools.

Man, I wish an ad comm WOULD give me yet another exam to make me go more ballistic than I already am just thinking about this process. 😱

The MSAT is rough. It involves your girlfriend's millitary father grilling you on O-chem while a really hot girl altrenates between fellating you and punching you in the groin.

Wait, wasn't that the MCAT? 😉

What's MSAT? Another way for adcoms to torture poor premeds?

Isn't the MSAT the British version of the MCAT??

You mean to tell me that we had to take the MSAT? Is this something they will rescind my acceptance over? Please help . . . I'm really stressing . . .

Get your daily dose of confusion from hellodoc. I had never even heard of the MSAT before this. The MSAR doesn't touch the subject, so it must not be important for U.S./Canadian admissions.

👍 I haven't been this confused since the hospital confidentiality thread.
