MSII Shelf correlation with COMLEX I score.

To any third year or above that will listen:
Is there any correlation b/t these two? According to the information our program director gave us there seems to be a strong one but I was woundering about peoples experiences from other schools. I did a little over the national average compared to last years stats. I'm working very hard now on the things I didn't do as well on and I am woundering if it worth it.
One last thing, If you took the USMLE how did your score there compare with your shelf and COMLEX results?
