MSK Fellowships

Can anyone considering a MSK fellowship offer some insight on what attracted you to it?

I realize it's one of the more competitive fellowships to obtain right now but I'm not quite sure why.

MSK isn't necessarily my favorite, but I've heard others say...

1) Lots of MRI

2) Unlike IR or even neuro, there are very few reasons to ever need an MSK radiologist at 2am

3) Similar to #2, very few opportunities to kill someone by misreading their shoulder or knee MRI

you may not kill anyone by misreading a knee or a shoulder, but if they are a college or professional athlete there can be serious repercussions.
