What are some of the higher resolution, higher cost machines with very good image quality for MSK?
Brands to avoid?
Brands to avoid?
I think the GE fits the bill. My machine can do a ton of stuff that is beyond my scope, great images. It's also expensive. If I were in PP, there's no way I'd pony up the cost for this machine. It's also bulky compared to the sonosite I used previously. No other significant complaints. What are some of the higher resolution, higher cost machines with very good image quality for MSK?

Pretty sure it’s this one. What model GE are you using
I have used that system in training and it was really nice. I imagine it is quite pricey for private practice, though. Can I ask if you bought it or if it is hospital owned?Been using the GE Venue - simply great ultrasound, for regional and pain.
Where did you buy yours?I got a Sonosite Edge II a few months back. It’s pretty good. I like it far more than my old Terason.

Read above. Understand the basics, spend time looking at anatomy and getting used to the machine.Any resources to learn msk ultrasound?
