Anyone interview at MSSM this season? Can you all share how you got to the school. NYC still confuses me immensely!

I interviewed there. Great school. Best way to get to the school is take the subway. It's right next to Central Park, and there's a subway station a couple blocks away, so it's pretty easy to get to. You should see lots of people in scrubs when you get close.

Good luck!

which line goes near there and what stop is it? I was thinking about taking a cab from midtown (times squareish) but I don't know how far away that is and how expensive it would be.

I am also wondering the same thing, also what is the best airport to fly in to to get to MSSM?

I believe the best way (I think this is what I did) is to get onto the green line (4/5/6) and get off at 103th St, then walk west a little bit to Central Park and south a couple blocks. You can't miss it. If you're going from Times Square, I don't know exactly how much a taxi would cost, but it shouldn't be exorbitantly expensive.

For airport, either JFK or LaGuardia will work. You'll have to take a bus from LaGuardia (or taxi), and you can take a train from JFK. Your choice.

Nevermind, had my busses confused!
I'm a New Yorker too, so kind of ashamed of myself.

I'm a New Yorker.

If you're coming from Times Square, you can take the S train or the 7 train to 42nd St.- Grand Central (that's one stop away on the S, or 2 stops away on the 7). Then transfer to the uptown #6 train to 103 st. (I forget what street MSSM is on... 100th?). Either way, walk west to central park, and south a few blocks.

If you're coming from LGA airport (which is the closest airport to MSSM), take the M60 bus to 125th St. and Lexington Ave. (You will see a Pathmark supermarket at that intersection). The subway is at this intersection. Take the downtown #6 train to 103rd st.

EDIT: Haha, it's ok bandaids, there are just too many busses/trains to keep track of.

I gave you the wrong directions! Listen to lovelyMD, I had my busses confused.
