Hey All:
Congrats to the entering class of 2012!!! I was so proud to see everyone's acceptances. I am applying to MD/PhD Programs for the 2009 cycle. Is there anyone that has applied or is currently applying that has any advice? For example, what schools have the best programs or have a decent population of URMs. Also, do people feel that MD/PhD committess truly look at the "whole package", like publications,etc.
Like MD, MD/PhD is a long haul and a strong support network for underrepressented students is essential. So, if there any MSTPs or MD/PhD students out there feel free to provide info. Oh and if you didnt get in MSTP or MD/PhD but plan to matriculate internally, feel free to comment too. Any and all advice is valuable! Thanks in advance!
