Does anyone know when interviews at Michigan State would start? I just want to make sure I would have enough time to buy a nice suit before then (assuming I get an interview). I turned in my VMCAS on Friday so I assume I should get the supp emailed to me soon. Someone I know was told their interview was about 4 days after their supp was turned in and I dont want that to happen to me!

oh my god, interviews 4 days after the supplemental?! good god, I didn't know that was possible. yikes. I thought we were notified in january-ish!

MSU does rolling admissions and being that it is after Sept, I think you will probably be interviewed in Dec. I believe it's if you turn VMCAS in before Sept, you interview in Oct., if you turn it in between Sept. 1 and 15 you interview in December, and if you turn it in Sept 15-Oct 1 you interview Jan/Feb. I didn't apply to MSU, this is just the breakdown I remember from the other threads.

I got my VMCAS in last Tuesday and haven't gotten anything email yet about the supplemental. I'll post when I do.

They base interviews on a few things. The first round will be in October. I'm pretty sure they "stack" the October and December interviews with candidates that have high academic scores. A certain number of spots are set aside for each round of interviews and then the rest are left to wait and be compared to the following rounds. If you are interviewed in October and don't get in right away it can be quite the waiting game.
Now, when I interviewed they only had 2 rounds- December and February, so they may have changed things a bit with these October interviews.
I'm looking forward to seeing those that get interviews! You'll get to tour the building and see some of the neat new facilities.
