According to an old powerpoint from the University of Iowa advising (May 2012) and an old powerpoint from Harvard University advising (spring 2013), it should be on February 10th.

I'm confused.

A friend of mine received an email saying that the report was released because one of her accepted schools knows that she's been accepted to multiple.

The school was giving me a list of current students who had a choice between schools before choosing their school.

"We would like to share with you a list of current X Medical School students who, like you, held multiple acceptances before deciding on X Medical School"

O wow. I thought they didn't do that until March or April. So what does this mean for people who have multiple acceptances?

I already withdrew from schools that have accepted or waitlisted me. In retrospect, this seems like it might not have been a wise decision. Would it be more likely that a school offers me some type of financial aid to try to "lure" me away from other schools had I not withdrew my acceptances? Thoughts guys?

At the very least it wouldn't have hurt to keep the acceptances as you earned them and don't have to narrow it down to 1 until May 15th.

Well, that's unfortunate. I was not aware schools would actually see where we got in and the school that I didn't withdraw from was by far my number one choice.

Can they see which other schools you've been wait listed at? Or only which schools you've been accepted at?

Only schools that've accepted you can see which other schools you've been accepted to. If you're accepted off the wait list however, the schools would be updated and informed of this additional acceptance.

If he's 100% sure he won't go, why not? Along those lines, do schools know when you've turned down other schools, or do they simply see that those schools made you an offer?

I was previously told that they see only those acceptances that you are currently holding (i.e. they will not know about acceptances that you previously declined).

Only schools that have accepted you can see this information.

"In the February of each application cycle, schools will have access to the Multiple Acceptance Report, which will show them which of their accepted applicants are holding acceptances from other schools" (AAMC Website)

So probably pretty soon.
