I am starting to fill out FAFSA, which allows me to send the same info to up to 10 schools. After reviewing the instructions from all my accepted schools, I found that some schools require parental info while others do not. I don't know if there is an easy way to separate the FAFSA form to send different info to different schools.

I don't think you can. Why don't you just send your parental info to all of your schools? Worst-case scenario, they won't use it. Schools use parental info to determine need-based aid. If you don't provide the info, you probably won't receive it.

You could call the FAFSA help phone line if you want to find out for sure, I did it once and it was pretty easy. However, it looks like you'll have to send the same info to all schools. Parental info won't matter when you go to take out loans, and schools may or may not actually use it when determining eligibility for institutional aid. Sometimes, they just ask for it for reporting purposes. Basically, it shouldn't hurt you to provide it even when it's not needed.

You gotta provide it if it's on FAFSA and some schools need it.

at least for the schools I applied to that didn't need it, they said they know other schools do need it so they will just ignore it.

Thank you so much for your answers.
