Somehow I ran across this site. I have 8 herniated disk from neck to tailbone. I've been on everything. I don't use drugs only prescription,even then only as needed. I get really bad spasms in rib cage under my arms like a Charlie horse. I nearly beat on it til tries to relax. I lose feeling in legs 2 or 3 times year and need help pick up. When I bend down I get dizzy spells. Docs have given me fentanyl 50mcg patch . Hydromorphone. Lyrica. Xanax and inhaler. I don't like drugs. I can't walk long and if I go-to my doc visits I can't move next day. I can't stretch, if I do my whole back locks up. Besides acupuncture,surgery, drugs ,can't do yoga do I just stay vegetable,by way I didn't want to rely on meds rest of life so I only take Ibuprofen. And if pain gets bad a shot whiskey ( only one 2 if severe). I want a life but doctor's won't do surgery saying to many injuries in all areas.
