I know this was discussed in the pre-dental section, but specifically for med school:

I go to a CUNY (city uni of NYC) to do my post bac classes (not an official program or anything) but it's over an hour commute. I was thinking about switching to a closer CUNY (which involves formally reapplying), but I read somewhere that statistically, the more schools you attend before applying to med school, the less likely you are to be accepted. I'm aware that's correlative not causative, but it still certainly gives me pause.

I know that at this point I'm an adult and adcoms will understand that life can make school much more complicated, but I do still think might look better, cleaner, to have done all the post bacc classes in one place.

Anyone have any wisdom on this?

Just be able to explain your decision to switch. You're going to more than likely be asked why you are wanting to switch careers as opposed to why you switched campuses.

I actually completed my post bacc classes at two separate colleges simultaneously for financial/logistical reasons particular to my situation. Other than 1 sentence in my PS I didn't discuss it and was never asked in interviews. So long as it is a good reason (and yours is) the switch shouldn't be a problem.

No one will care. If the GPA and MCAT are ok, where the grades came from won't matter. Save that commute time and spend it studying for the MCAT 🙂

I did the same. I hope it isn't a problem.

I did the same and nobody cared. Don't even waste space in your personal statement mentioning it.
