Hey, everyone! I got an interview at MUSC a couple of days ago. I'm so excited! 🙂 I just wanted to see how many of ppl would be joining me at the Sept 15th interview.

Hope your interview goes well! My MUSC interview was very relaxing, and people were very welcoming and nice.

In state or out-of-state?...i just interviewed at UNC (LOVED IT) but I also applied to MUSC, have to keep the options open in case the in-state school doesnt work out.

I'm in-state (from Charleston)... I'm not sure about the others on this thread. They're probably in-state as well because MUSC has a STRONG preference for in-state applicants.

does anyone know if you can get in-state residency at MUSC after your first year if you are an out of state applicant?

I think they usually let you become in-state after the first year if you "live" in sc. I'm not sure that a student will always be able to establish his residency after the first year, but this link might clarify things. Hope this helps!
