I was wondering if anyone here's ever had an interest in the psychology of music and if anyone could offer some good resources on the subject. I'm doing research specifically on the effects of musical/ear training on the brain, tone recognition and the theory of absolute pitch acquisition in adults.

My brother in law has a MA in ethnomusicology, and is working on his PhD in clinical psych.; he is a really intuitive guy when it comes to stuff like that. Thats is an interesting topic, one that I think he may have some insight on. I will see if I can't get his opinions or insight, or better yet, maybe he can join SDN!
