i'm looking to apply next year. the problem is that i may still have o-chem 2 in progress. does every class need to be completed before you can apply? how many can be in progress while applying?>

All the requirements are for matriculation, not application. As long as you indicate you will complete your prereqs before matriculation on your AMCAS, you are good to go.

hey thanx pinkertinkle, i was beginning to think i was screwed. i didnt want to have to wait a-whole-'nother year to apply just because of one or two classes

i think it may vary by school, though. i know that for Cornell Med they say that all prereqs must be completed by Jan 15 of the year you wish to matriculate. Not sure if this is the only place like this, or if others have it as well. In any case, if you are taking Ochem now, I don't see how you will have a problem.
