"When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet - at the hundred and first blow it will split in two - and I realized it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before." - Jacob Riis

Just keep plugging away and it will all pay off in the end;)

BTW, What a great and extremely relevant quote

love that quote really.

but hey, I think you should reevaluate what information you are not really absorbing.
For example, when I studied, I wasn't really grasping taxonomy, plants, and embryology of bio sections and hated battery/galvanic cell questions in gen chem. (orgo was solid) I kept missing the same stuff even after going through the problems over and over again.

then I started marking the ones I got wrong once, twice, and three times.
I picked a day to just do those problems and really tried to get the concept down or just memorize them if I couldn't understand them.

If you are weak on certain topics, make a sticky note and constantly remind yourself of that topic.

Another good way is to make quizlets.
