I am glad I am not the only one suffering from this. Although after 5 pm central time, I give up and anxiously wait for the next day lol Weekends are a bit calm, since I don't expect the adcoms to be working (although I secretly hope that they are looking at our apps ^_^)

What do you guys suggest doing to stop this disease? lol

I think... not coming to SDN could be a start haha
but then again.. coming to SDN is another chronic addiction...
refreshing SDN page over and over and over to see if the "interview" thread has been "bolded" ...
checking the interview notice.. then going to gmail to refresh...
oh the sick cycle.

Haha, at least SDN gives us something interesting to new/read while we refresh our inboxes! To distract me from dental school admissions, I have started going back to my high school addiction (collegeconfidential ^_^), which helps kill some time!

If anything, DO NOT get a smartphone. With a smartphone I tend to continue the constant checking of my email on my phone even while I'm not at home. If I didn't have one, I at least wouldn't be able to check if I wasn't on my computer.

You can get push notifications whenever you get mail on smartphones. That way you don't have to keep refreshing the inbox.

Oh I get push notifications, so I'm not constantly refreshing my inbox. However, I am still obsessively looking at my phone to see if I have any emails while not at home, which I need to stop.

I'm tempted to buy a smart phone just for this cycle lol. It'd be super handy during traveling too, in case you get lost while trying to find the school or something
