Hi everyone
I am not in OT program now, This is my thought, and I just want to share with people who need it. 🙂)
I was once, an OT applicant for Fall admission 2012.
I have 3.03 GPA, 298 GRE (tried so hard on GRE) , 400hrs+ volunteered(geriatric, pediatric, rehab center), letters from OTs and rehab director.
I got in the interview round at Loma Linda, St,. Augustine but still got rejected.

So, I am in OTA program now, 60k tuition, 20 months at private college.
Guys! If you think that you dont want to wait for another year, go to OTA, or PTA- private school ( no waiting, no waitlist, no high GPA, little volunteer, Fast!)

then later, when you got a job and become a COTA, go for the bridge program to become an OTR

😍
p/s: cota get paid 25-30$/hr at hospital in CA.

Great Advice, thats crazy you had two interviews and still denied. Ive been reviewing everybodies post for months now. I transfered from a community college and Im now currently at a universtiy (graduate in may). Im going back in forth with even applying. I have 2 semesters to improve my low gpa. I just want to enter the healthcare field, make a difference, be knowledgeable, and make money lol.

One good thing over this whole process is that I lost 5 pounds from forgetting to eat and being manic.
