Hello friends,
I was lucky enough to be accepted to AZCOM - I am starting in a few months. I found my acceptance around august or october. I remember my excitement, thinking that I couldn't wait for this year to end in order to begin the new academic year. My excitement is wearing off and i'm beginning to fear starting school very much.
1. There is an incredible discrepancy between IRL people telling me about how mind-blowingly time consuming med school is and then reading on these forums that it's not that bad. I don't know what to expect anymore.
2. I also found this to be terrifying. How the hell are so many physicians burned out?
so much uncertainty has me scared :c
So, my question for my fellow accepted applicants, is: how has your attitude changed over time since being accepted? If my reaction is common/normal, i'll feel a lot better 👍
