Hi,
I just got my stepI scores back and couldn't help but post this to see what places I still have a shot at. I got a 218/88 on it and would like to at least match in a semi-competitive program. I am thinking somewhere like UNC, Duke, Emory, UVA, Vandy,Wake, MUSC, etc or so. I am an average student at a decent US MD school and just starting my rotations so don't know how I will perform on those but should I worry about taking step II before applications and release scores to make me more competitive or is my stepI score good enough? Anything else I can do to improve my chances at some of the more prestigious programs? I know I'll probably involve in elective research sometime next year b4 applications and probably do an away rotation at one of these.
Thanks
