Re-applicant with 3.56C and roughly 3.5S GPA. Took MCAT last time around got a low score (26), retaking it next week.

I have significant amount of EC's a 1st author pub, ER, shadowing, poster conferences, clinical research, alternative spring break, several conferences, awards for my posters as well.
Furthermore, I feel as if my personal statement is very good (dont want to toot my own horn, but everyone I showed it to says its an amazing statement)

My strongest section of my app, is my letter of recs probably. Got them from professors who know me personally through my undergraduate years, these are also the same professors whose classes I've taken and gotten A's in. My PI's letter of rec is also going to be nothing less than a great rec

What should I do? Do I have any shot at US medical schools?

How are you scoring on practice tests?

And maybe someone else can chime in...but I have never heard of anyone getting an interview/accepted based on how "good" their LORs are. I feel they are more of a formality. Like, they can raise red flags, but just like ECs, they will not get you in alone. A lot of people talk on here about their "great LORs" but how much do they really mean?
